On Running Outside in Winter

Put on my running tights, Nike dri-fit sweatshirt with a hood, a vest and gloves and headed out for a run this afternoon, and thanks, I think, in part to my new running mix — to which I’ve added a bunch of songs! Running Around Pt. 2 coming soon — I had a really great 4.5 mile run from my apartment, through the projects, into Dumbo, along the waterfront, into Cobble Hill and ending at Trader Joe’s, where I picked up some groceries. Then I walked home.

I’m psyched to start doing my long run outside again; I’d almost forgotten how much better it really is.
